This policy explains what personal information Skinmandu collects, how we use it, and your rights. We collect only what we need to run the marketplace.
Information we collect
When you sign in with Steam, we receive your Steam ID, public persona, and avatar. When you buy or sell, we collect your email, trade URL, and order details. Payment card details are handled directly by our payment provider — we never store your full card number.
How we use it
We use your information to process orders and payouts, deliver items to your Steam inventory, provide support, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to operate the marketplace — for example, our payment processor and our skin supplier — and only to the extent necessary. We may disclose information where required by law.
Data retention
We keep order and payment records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and South Africa's POPIA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@skinmandu.com.
